Management Committee

The Loftus Community Centre is overseen by a Management Committee made up of members representing various community groups within the centre.  The Management Committee employ and work closely with the Centre Manager to deliver the strategic and business planning direction of the centre.  The treasurer works closely with the Centre Manager to ensure the financial viability of the centre.  Of particular importance is ensuring that the centre continues to deliver excellent community programs and services to the community through positive leadership and reliance on the strategic vision purpose and values that have been thoroughly researched and adopted.

Staff

The Loftus Community Centre employs six staff the majority in a part time capacity.  All staff are qualified in their particular area and receive ongoing training to meet the demands and changes of working within the Community Development sector.

Volunteers

The Loftus Community Centre relies heavily on volunteers to assist with our day to day operations of the centre.  We have a number of volunteers who come in on a regular basis and help out with general administration, daily set up, 3+ kindy, special events and school holiday programs.  All of our volunteers have a working with children’s check and police clearance.
